I haven’t blogged in forever and it isn’t because I’ve been too busy – rather just lazy! With the Christmas season in full swing I’ve managed to get in a couple of fun holiday events and feel full of good cheer.
Melissa, Kelsey, Charlie, Eli, Abby and I went to see Bellevue’s Garden d’Lights 2010 (http://www.bellevuebotanical.org/events/fmevents_gardendlights.htm). With displays of all sorts of scenes; tropical seas, a farmer’s crop, raging river, exotic flowers, birds and fish, there seemed no limit to what could be done with a bazillion Christmas lights. And the weather cooperated – translation: no rain, it was entertaining enough for even a couple of two-year olds.
Last weekend was the 33 year of the Cougan/Davis dinner. With five children under age 4 -Abby was sick and couldn’t join us and 12 adults – Charlie stayed home with Abby, it was a loud and joyous event. Both B-Z and I felt so thankful that our children make this yearly celebration a priority in their busy lives.
