Part II: Ride to Everett

I took the Interurban Trail up to Everett to visit my friend Janet. This is my third year riding that trail and I think I finally got it down. It is so poorly marked - you really need to be familiar with the area and have an eagle eye to see the Interurban signs. I rode the last ten miles with a retired professor of physics from Iowa who was visiting his son in Mill Creek. He was on his way to visit friends in Port Ludlow. Next week he's leaving for a 2000 mile ride down the Oregon coast and eventually ending in Montana. That's the kind of retirement I want - he was inspirational!
