It feels like a lifetime ago that my kids were starting school but I know it happened; I’ve got pictures to prove it. I can remember the fun/stress of clothes shopping, trying to figure out how to pay for everything, the shoes, pencils, backpacks and lunchboxes. For the first couple of years I sewed Melissa and Kelsey’s clothes – I would have sewn Peter’s too but boy clothes are a lot harder to look ‘store bought’. The flurry and anticipation after a lazy, laggard summer time was electrifying – I sort of miss that time. Good luck to all the new and old students – may we never stop learning.
