I think I'm the only person in Seattle who had never been to the Gorge Amphitheater. That is not true anymore! I went to see one of my favorite's, Van Morrison last night. The venue is amazingly beautiful located just above the Columbia River. As we experience one of the coolest, gray and rainy summers I can remember, the hot sun was welcomed. I brought a coat and sweater and used neither. And Van, well Van the Man was amazing. At almost 66 years old, his voice was strong and powerful. He played some old - "Gloria", "Brown Eyed Girl", "Into the Mystic", as well as newer rhythm and blues. It was hard to stay in my seat and lucky for me - I was in a spot where I could let my dancing soul soar!
